Toon-O-Ween 2017 Intro

Ah, my favorite time of year has come again. It's October, and you all know what that means.
.........
IT'S MY BIRTHDAY MONTH
Yes, on October 9th of this year I'll officially be a legal adult, and none of you care do ya?
Yeah, I don't blame you. Halloween is much cooler than my birthday anyway. *Sigh*
Another October though brings about another round on Toon-O-Ween. This is our 3rd annual Halloween celebration where we look at animated Halloween specials or just other pieces of animation to help get us into the spirit of the season. This year is going to be the biggest year yet. Most of the stuff we review here is just campy horror and is more fun than terrifying. This year we have our first legit horror product to showcase. We also have our first full anime series and not just 1 but 2 movies.
This Toon-O-Ween is something you don't want to miss.
Every Saturday in October prepare for animated apparitions and creepy cartoons. 5 more Toon-O-Ween episodes are coming your way this month.

10/07-Monster House
10/14-The Halloween Door (The Real Ghostbusters)
10/21-The Graveyard Shift or Clams (SpongeBob)
10/28-Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (When They Cry)
10/31-Coraline

We'll start of this otherworldly October with a look at the mostly forgotten Monster House. Then we visit the Ghostbusters, and see how they celebrate this haunting holiday. Thirdly we return to the world of Bikini Bottom for either one of two classic season 3 episodes. On the last Saturday we'll watch an anime that I've only now had the balls to watch for the first time. Higurashi When They Cry (also known in Japan by the cooler name Higurashi no Naku Koro ni). And on October's final nightmarish night expect a review of what is probably the creepiest movie targeted towards kids, Coraline.

Hope to see you all on the 7th night of this monstrous month.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Out of character note: I have a lot of catch up to do, so while Toon-O-Ween will be priority I'll probably have other stuff go up this month as well.
